OnTechies.com was born in July of 2010 under the name AustinTechGeeks.com, the name and domain name changed in January of 2011. This blog was created to be a place where techies, geeks and the like can find news, gadgets, learn about events, startups, meetups and jobs related to technology. All articles published in this blog are original and related to technology and geeks in general.
In August of 2010, the month after launching OnTechies.com, we got over 1,800 unique visitors and have been growing that number since then. Our traffic has been increasing organically (we don’t do any paid advertising) and we have been very lucky of being featured in WordPress’ Freshly Pressed which drove a tremendous amount of traffic and subscriptions. Thank you WordPress.
